Contraluz

Sentei-me na borda do muro de forma a só conseguir ver parte da Torre de Belém e conseguir enquadrar as pequenas guaritas em primeiro plano.
Àquela hora da manhã o sol estava muito baixinho e proporcionava uma contraluz tão forte que quase não via os pormenores na fachada da torre, mas no caderno tentei dar-lhe alguma luz para o desenho não ficar demasiado pesado.

I sat on the edge of the wall so I could only see part of the Tower of Belém and be able to frame the small guardhouses in the foreground.

At that hour of the morning the sun was very low and backlit the tower so strongly that I could hardly see the details on the façade. But in the sketchbook I tried to give it some light to keep it interesting.
