Ao inicio da manhã a zona junto ao Mosteiro dos Jerónimos ainda está sossegada, praticamente sem ninguém. Mas o cenário muda rapidamente e no espaço de 1 hora fica cheio de autocarros e de pessoas. Este desenho foi feito dentro do carro, estacionado no lugar dos autocarros que ainda não tinham chegado.
No final achei que devia ter usado a tinta cinzenta para desenhar o mosteiro e acentuar a profundidade, mas essa experiência terá que ficar para outra página.
Early in the morning the area next to the Jeronimos Monastery is still quiet. But this changes fast and within 1 hour the place is full of buses and people walking around.
This was sketched inside the car, parked right where the buses will stop within the hour.
After I finished it I thought I should ha used the gray ink to sketch the monastery and increase the diference between foreground and background, but that experience will have to wait for another page.
